Castelluccio - Monti Sibillini

Castelluccio village is a small mountain village in the Sibillini Mountains National Park. The Castelluccio plateau is located at an altitude of 1,400 meters and has an area of 16 km2. During flowering (june-july), the grasslands form a large mosaic of wildflowers. Castelluccio is 90 km from B&B CarloCarla.

Frasassi Caves

The Frasassi cave complex is one of the largest in the world. The caves are very accessible for all ages. During the 1.5 km tour on foot you can admire the many stalagnites and stalactites of the caves. The Frasassi Caves are 86km from B&B CarloCarla.

Lake Fiastra & Lame Rosse

These strange rock formations are called the 'Lame Rosse' (literally it means red blades). They're also called the Grand Canyon of Le Marche. The rocks are formed by millions of years of erosion. The Lame Rosse trail is about 3.5 km (7 km round trip) and starts at the dam of Lake Fiastra in National Park Monti Sibillini. The start of the trail is 50km from B&B CarloCarla.
